In today’s episode, we have Femi Odugbemi, The founder of ZURI24 Media. He’s a Nigerian documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, cinematographer, director, producer and photographer. A voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the United States and most recently the Academy Director (West Africa) for the Multichoice Talent Factory, His works include a popular Nigerian soap opera titled Tinsel which has been running for 11 years.
Interviewing him on set we have Ummi Yakubu, a producer, writer, editor game designer and developer. Some of her works are 4th Republic, Silent Tears and uprooted.

A multimedia developer by training, Ummi has worked on non-fictional narratives including ‘Gender & Urban Poverty’, a video series advocating for the rights of women and girls in the settlements surrounding the FCT, ‘Where Are the Women?’, a documentary on the role of women in conflict resolution, ‘Silent Tears’, a documentary on Gender Based Violence in the FCT and ‘Uprooted’, a documentary that sheds light on changing gender norms and cultural practices as a result of the Boko-Haram conflict in Borno State. She is the Executive Producer of ‘4th Republic’ a political thriller that addresses good governance and the importance of a strong and fair judiciary in any democracy.
